On January 9, 2024, the Wi Fi Alliance, an organization that maintains and develops Wi Fi standards, officially announced that it has completed and launched the certification of Wi Fi 7 advanced wireless standards. Applicable terminal products can officially obtain Wi Fi 7 certification and be sold based on it. As the next generation wireless communication technology standard, Wi Fi 7 introduces breakthrough technologies such as 320MHz bandwidth, Multi Link Operation (MLO), 4096-order Orthogonal Amplitude Modulation (4K QAM), and flexible channel selection, which will bring higher data transmission rates, lower latency, and stronger network connection stability, providing users with a smoother and more efficient network experience.

Among them, PAC2214x is equipped with Arm Cortex-M0 MCU, with a main frequency of 50MHz and a Flash capacity of 32KB; PAC2514x adopts Arm Cortex-M4 MCU, with a main frequency increased to 150 MHz and a Flash capacity of 128KB. At the same time, in response to the two major requirements of safety and long endurance for battery management, Qorvo's BMS chip optimizes and manages battery efficiency and lifespan based on six functions: charge and discharge management, short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, battery monitoring, battery balancing, and low-power control.
