Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of two new panel potentiometers with built-in rotary switches - P16F and PA16F, IP67 sealed. The Vishay Infernice P16F and PA16F potentiometers have a dielectric strength of up to 5000 VAC and a rated power of 1 W at+40 ° C, which can be used to simplify industrial and audio application design and optimize costs.
The recently released device integrates a knob and panel potentiometer in one component, eliminating the need to purchase and assemble separate knobs. In addition, only the installation hardware and terminals are located on the back of the panel, and the gap required for the back of the micro potentiometer panel is less than 15 mm.
PA16F uses conductive plastic resistor cores, suitable for audio applications, while P16F metal ceramic rotary potentiometers are suitable for industrial motor drives, welding equipment, HVAC and lighting systems, and control panels. The device is fully sealed in accordance with IP67 standards and can operate reliably under extreme environmental conditions.
The potentiometer can be customized with knob scales, resistance values, wires and connectors, as well as pawl and switch options. The device can also provide metal knobs as required. P16F and PA16F meet the testing standards of CECC 41000 or IEC 60393-1.
