MALVERN, Pennsylvania, USA, Shanghai, China - May 13, 2025- Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE stock code: VSH) recently announced the launch of two new industrial grade 1 Form A solid-state relays, VO1401AEF and VOR103M4, packaged in surface mount SOP-4. Vishay VO1401AEF and VOR1003M4 provide high continuous load currents of 550 mA and 5 A, load voltages of 60 V and 30 V, isolation voltage of 3750 VRMS, and typical low leakage current of less than 1 μ A, respectively.

With high current capability, the recently released devices are highly suitable for using non-contact optical relays to replace electromechanical relays that are susceptible to destructive vibrations, as non-contact optical relays provide robust and reliable anti vibration switches with higher reliability and longer service life. In addition, due to the high isolation voltage, these devices can be used in harsh environments.

The typical on and off times of VO1401AEF are 1.3 ms and 0.15 ms, while the typical on and off times of VOR103M4 are 0.5 ms and 0.1 ms, providing fast switching for industrial automation systems and control, safety systems, medical devices, and broadcasting equipment. In these applications, the compact packaging of these devices saves board space, while their low leakage current helps to keep sensitive loads at the output closed, thereby achieving higher efficiency.

VO1401AEF and VOR1003M4 can now provide samples and have achieved mass production, with a supply cycle of 4 weeks.
