SITWEI officially releases its sub brand Feilingwei, with the first product positioning being intelligent driving visual processing

Postar em Jan 01,1970

On August 8, 2024, Shanghai, China - SITWEI (Shanghai) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (stock abbreviation: SITWEI, stock code: 688213) officially launched its wholly-owned subsidiary brand - Flyingchip. At the same time, the Infineon Micro M1 car vision processing chip series was officially unveiled, including M1 (Camera ISP), M1Pro (Camera SoC), and M1Max (Camera SoC). Three automotive grade products have excellent image processing performance, low power consumption, small package size, functional safety, information security and other advantages, which can provide richer, more flexible, stable and reliable choices for improving the image performance and visual preprocessing of car cameras. With high-precision and low latency car imaging solutions, they promote the upgrading and development of intelligent driving vision system applications.

With the acceleration of automobile electrification and intelligence, the market size of in car cameras is showing a significant upward trend. According to Yole's prediction, the global car camera market size will increase from $5.7 billion to $8.4 billion from 2023 to 2029.

Advanced ISP full link algorithm for clearer and more accurate intelligent driving images

M1 car mounted high-performance ISP chip

As the first high-performance camera ISP product from Infineon Micro, M1 has the following advantages in image processing:

Built in high-performance dark light noise reduction and image enhancement algorithms significantly improve the clarity of real-time images, helping to enhance the recognition efficiency of intelligent driving vision systems.

Supports high-resolution RGB-IR image processing and can be paired with RGB-IR image sensors to form an RGB-IR camera solution suitable for in cabin OMS applications.

Supports up to 4 frames of HDR synthesis, with a dynamic range of up to 144dB, effectively preserving and highlighting the details of the light and dark parts of the image, ensuring the accuracy of image capture by the car camera in complex lighting scenes.

Support LED flicker suppression (LFS), effectively avoiding imaging flicker problems caused by LED signals such as electronic road signs and traffic signals, providing complete and accurate image information for ADAS applications.

Support dual channel 3MP@30fps HDR image synchronization processing enables flexible implementation of various in vehicle multi vision application scenarios such as binocular vision in the cabin and front view binocular cameras.

In terms of packaging size specifications, M1 offers two types: 9mm * 9mm (QFN) and 7mm * 7mm (BGA), which are conducive to forming a structurally miniaturized car camera solution.

Light computing power end-to-end processing, clearer field of view and more timely response

M1Pro car mounted lightweight computing visual processing SoC chip

On the basis of being equipped with the advanced ISP image processing module of the same model as M1, M1Pro has built-in 0.8TOPS@INT8 Self developed NPU with lightweight computing power, Arm Cortex A7 CPU, and 1Gb DDR3L memory. It is worth mentioning that the self-developed NPU by Infineon Micro supports mainstream neural network frameworks in the industry and has been specifically optimized for lightweight neural network structures and visual tasks, effectively accelerating visual data processing and improving image processing accuracy, as well as reducing the burden on the backend processing of in vehicle vision systems. Taking the DMS application solution in the cabin as an example, the M1Pro can be paired with the STMicroelectronics 2MP image sensor SC232AT, which can significantly improve the dynamic range in global shutter mode under the dual drive of image sensor and SoC built-in ISP. At the same time, M1Pro supports the operation of DMS recognition algorithms and result output, effectively improving the real-time performance of the overall DMS system, enabling the intelligent driving system to complete instant response, thereby ensuring driving safety.

M1Max car mounted lightweight computing visual processing SoC chip

Compared to M1Pro, M1Max has undergone corresponding upgrades in core module configuration, including 1.5TOPS@INT8 We have independently developed NPU, Arm Cortex A7 × 2 CPU, 2Gb DDR3L memory, and other lightweight computing capabilities to further meet the visual processing application needs of intelligent driving systems on the end side with stronger processing and computing performance.

All three new products comply with AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification and ISO26262 ASIL-B functional safety level requirements, ensuring stable operation of in vehicle visual processing and computing with advantages such as high safety and reliability.
